About The Instructor

After growing up in Central Virginia, Wendy attended Virginia Tech graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Education. She has lived in Virginia Beach since 1993 and has worked in the Virginia Beach City Public School System for 31 years. The last 21 years she has taught health and physical education at Alanton Elementary School. She earned her Driving Instructor’s License in 2019 and has helped to build confidence in new drivers through her calm and careful instruction. She has successfully certified hundreds of new drivers. Wendy is looking forward to working with future drivers through her own driving school, Wonder Wheels.
